LIVING UNDER KAPATALISM
Directed by Nia Fausset
Produced by London Film School
Serbia, 2010. Milošević is gone, but Kapitalina remains. Jo, a young woman fighting to be an adult, is the only family who can travel to visit her sick grandmother, Kapa. Jo just has to let go of her cold British ways and learn to accept the love of her fiery Yugoslavian grandmother and all that comes with it. Living Under Kapatilism is Nia Fausset's London Film School graduation project. Having trained in production design, the film is a retelling of her own relationship with her grandmother.
